Special dinner for cancer survivors, caregivers

This year marks the "Decade" Relay" for Life in Bandera County, sponsored by the America Cancer Society.
The annual Survivor-Caregiver Dinner will take place from 6:30 pm to 8 pm, Tuesday, May 13, at the Bandera First United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, located at the intersection of 11th and Hackberry streets. Survivor-Caregiver registration forms will be available and Survivor T-shirts will be distributed. Online registration and RSVP for the dinner is available at www.RelayForLife.org/BanderaTX.
Guest speakers will include Michael DeHart, one of the 2012 Heroes of Hope, from Killian, and Dr. Chyle of Kerrville Cancer Center.
Entertainment will be provided by Karen Haile, Cynthia Anderson and Rick Jeter of Three Peace Band.
"We look forward to seeing you at the dinner and our celebration of Hope," said a spokesman for Bandera Relay for Life.

The American Cancer Society-Bandera County Relay For Life is slated for 7 pm to 2 am, Saturday and Sunday, May 17 and 18 at the Bandera High School Football Stadium
