Mother-daughter tea announced

Contributed

Sunday, May 4, will be an eventful day at Silver Sage Community Center when the Mother-Daughter Tea Party is in full swing from 1:30 pm until 3:30 pm. The Sunday before Mother's Day is a perfect time for mothers, daughters, grandmothers and granddaughters to enjoy each other's company. The dining room will be decorated in spring colors and refreshments will be served. Weather permitting, additional tables will be set up in the garden. Everyone is urged to make the event even more special by dressing up, donning a big hat or tiara and perhaps even gloves. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased at the Silver Sage's office at 803 Buck Creek Boulevard. For more information, call Amy Hawley at 830-796-4969.
