Riverside Nature Center in Kerrville has a new series of educational programs called "Conversations with Conservationists." These are talks by eminent authorities, and David K. Langford will launch the program with his remarks and Q&A on the subject of land management on Thursday, March 27.
The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Center at 150 Francisco Lemos Street in Kerrville.
Multi-award-winning photographer and author Langford is well-known in the conservation community, and he'll be at RNC to sign copies of his new, co-authored book, Hillingdon Ranch: Four Seasons, Six Generations.
Texas A&M Press published this work, co-authored by Langford and Lori Woodward Cantu, in October 2013. Endorsements came from diverse corners, from Laura Bush to Nolan Ryan to George Strait. Texas Highways and Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine both carried articles in their March 2014 editions praising the book.
A number of signed artist's proofs of Langford's breathtakingly beautiful photographs will be on display and for sale.
"This is a major event for Kerrville and the Hill Country, and I know folks will enjoy attending," said Martha Hix, publicist.
Hors d'oeuvres and wine will be served.
