Christian women's retreat planned


Hill Country women are invited to an overnight retreat to hear Debbie Taylor Williams, founder of Hill Country Ministries of Kerrville. She will share insights from her book, "The Plan A Woman in a Plan B World!"
"Discover how to take charge of your thoughts and walk in the power of God's Spirit even when your hopes and dreams do not materialize as you planned," said a spokesman.
The event is sponsored by Women of Worth (WOW) Ministry Team of First Baptist Church, Bandera. It will be held Friday, April 4, beginning at 6 pm, and continue through Saturday, April 5, at 4 pm.
This uplifting program will be held at the beautiful Laity Lodge in Leakey. Cost is $50 which includes room and meals. Checks should be made to FBC, Bandera (PO Box 340, Bandera, 78003) Participants are asked to bring their Bible, bed linens, towels, flashlight, and walking shoes.
Debbie Taylor Williams ( is dedicated to spreading God's word and love as she ministers to women. She has written many books and Bible studies.
