Check out eBooks from Bandera Library

By John Hegemeier Library Director

Did you or someone you know receive the gift of an eBook reader this past Christmas? Or maybe someone's getting a new smart phone? Or perhaps the only internet connected device you have is a personal computer. Well, it doesn't matter which electronic device you may own. If you have a Bandera Public Library card you can freely borrow electronic books and audio books from the Bandera Public Library.
What's the best way to download and start reading eBooks? My advice is - if you're interested in borrowing books electronically - don't be timid. Jump right in and click on the Lone Star Digital Download link from the Bandera Public Library's website and get started. If you have any difficulties or uncertainties, bring your digital device to the Library where a staff member will help you set up your device to begin borrowing books.
During the months of January and February, the Bandera Public Library will also be setting aside every Wednesday afternoon from 5 to 6 pm to help answer any questions or solve any problems that you may have when trying to utilize the Lone Star Digital Library webpage.
The Lone Star Digital Library supports a large variety of electronic devices. The staff at the Library may not be conversant with all of these devices but with a little patience and perseverance, together, we will soon have you reading or listening to electronic books.
