RLAT sponsors BCRAGD candidates' forum

Announcement

The Ranchers and Landowners Association of Texas will sponsor a Bandera County River Authority and Groundwater District Candidate Forum at 7 pm, Tuesday, April 30, at the community room of the Bandera Electric Cooperative. BEC is located adjacent to Mansfield Park on Highway 16 North. The RLAT membership and the general public will have an opportunity to meet the candidates for the BCRAGD Board of Directors. The election will be Saturday, May 11, with early voting taking place from April 29 through May 7.
BCRAGD candidates will share their backgrounds with the public, explain how their experiences will assist them in carrying out their duties, and most importantly, offer their thoughts about water resources in Bandera County. Candidates will be furnished some general questions in advance and the public will be able to ask questions from the floor.
This forum will be an excellent opportunity for the public to meet and hear the candidates that aspire to serve taxpayers in times when water has become so important and the need for conservation even more so.
Mark your calendars for 7 pm, Tuesday, April 30, and plan to attend this important Bandera community event at the community room of the Bandera Electric Cooperative.
