Pictured with giant scissors, Lisa and Steve Castor, new owners of Old West Imports, 206 Main Street, celebrated a grand opening and ribbon cutting with family, friends and members of the Bandera County Chamber of Commerce on Friday, Oct. 12. The Castors relocated from Kerrville to Pipe Creek, and purchased the business in August. The couple is busy upgrading the merchandise that includes colorful ceramics from Mexico, Native American crafts, a display case filled with collectibles, popular chimineas and a 60 percent off room. A special focus will be on the work of Peruvian artist Henry Peters, Lisa Castor said. Old West Imports is open 10 am to 6 pm, Friday through Sunday; and 10 am to 5 pm, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. The shop is closed Tuesday. Telephone is 830-796-7386.
