BANDERA PTA MEETS
TUESDAY NIGHT
The Bandera PTA will meet Tuesday night at the High School building for the regular meeting. Father's Night will be observed and all fathers are extended a special invitation to be present. The program planned includes special music by the band; invocation, "The Lord's Prayer;" topic for the day, "The Home in the National Picture;" study course topic, "The American Youth, The Farmer has a Son;" business followed by a social hour.

BANDERA COUNTY TSTA
MET MONDAY
The Bandera County Unit of the State Teachers' Association met in Bandera Monday night. To fill vacancies made by formerly elected officers having moved from the county, the following were elected: AK Briggs, president; MA Hatfield, vice-president; AA Nicholls, secretary.
Following the business period, Mr. John W. Sutherland and Mrs. ER Teel led in a general discussion of the 12 year plan for Texas schools, with special reference to the needs of Medina and Bandera. ...Since this plan is state-wide and will concern all schools, regardless of size, we urge each teacher in the county to attend the meeting in Medina on the second Monday of February.
We wish to express our appreciation for the music given by Mr. Conwill and the band as part of the program and to thank the Bandera Homemaking Department for a very attractive serving of punch and cookies during the social hour.
