2012-07-04 Lakehills July 4th Celebration and Parade!

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION WEDNESDAY, JULY 4TH, AT THE AMERICAN LEGION POST HOME IN LAKEHILLS

PARADE STARTS AT 11:00AM
12:00 - BAR-B-QUE CHICKEN DINNER WITH ALL THE TRIMMINGS
THERE WILL BE MUSIC AND A RAFFLE COME AND HELP US CELEBRATE OUR INDEPENDENCE!!!!!

First Monday
• MS Support group, 6:30 pm, Lakehills Civic Center
First & Third Tuesday
• Bingo 1st & 3rd Tue of each month, LH American Legion Post 410 on PR 37.
Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Lunch at the Lakehills Civic Center at 11:30 am. Open to all ages; $4.50 for 60 & up, $5.40 for younger; call 830-751-9904 by 9 am for reservations.
Second Tuesday
• Medina Lake VFD members meeting 7:30 pm; MLVFD on PR 37. Members do not have to be a firefighter, or become a firefighter, just "Neighbors Helping Neighbors." Call Tom Kral, 210-391-4031 for info.
Tuesdays & Thursdays
• Community meeting at J&D's BBQ & Cafe on Park Road 37; 7 pm; All persons are welcomed.
Last Tuesday of the month
• Book club meets at 1 pm at the Lakehills Area Library. Call 510-2777 for more information.

Lakehills United Methodist Church
Vacation Bible School
July 9-13
9 am - Noon
Located at the corner of 8th Street & Ave J

Registration forms available at the church. Join us for crafts, music, games, and more. Open to all youth in the Lakehills Community. Classes for 3 year olds through 5th grade.
Older teens are welcome to come and be helpers to the adult volunteers. For more information, call Judy Edwards
