Helping Hand Serves

Judith Pannebaker

A single man from out of town came to Bandera to stay with a friend. He had nothing of his own, so we gave him sets of clothing and food.
A couple with two kids were having a hard time due to the husband being ill and can’t work. She does hold a job. We helped pay their electric bill, gave them all coats and gave them food.
A single woman has a daughter and son living with her along with two granddaughters and two grandsons. They do receive a Social Security Disability check, but no one works. We helped pay their electric bill and gave them clothing and food.
A single woman has 3 kids and a husband who abandoned them. We helped pay their electric bill. Another woman receives some income doing periodic subcon-tract work. We also helped pay her electric bill.
Medicare training is still taking place on the second Tuesday of each month from 10:00 am to noon, in our Helping Hand conference room.
