What's good for the goose...

Doug White

I found these photos on one of my old floppy disk from 1999! They are of a beautiful bird kite. This one happens to be a Canada Goose. My better half and myself were visiting my sister and her family in Virginia Beach.
It was a great trip and when we visited the beautiful beach the water was so nice. I couldn't help but notice a person flying a unique kite. It was a bird kite, specifically, a Canada Goose. It looked so real, I actually thought for a minute it was a pet goose!
The realistic bird kites are made from a tough material called tyvek. Each bird is painted with extreme detail. Some of the types of bird kites available are: American Bald Eagle, Mallard Duck Drake or Hen, Snow Goose, Blue Goose, Osprey, Loon.
We got our bird kite almost 14 years ago, June 1999. And it still looks perfect! If you like kite flying and have a love of birds. Then this could be for you.
You can find the business on the internet at www.jackite.com.
I hope you enjoyed this week's article.
